Escape the crowds and enjoy a retreat to the rainforest. Cedar Park is isolated but not far. We are a place to step back from the push of technology. Rooms and public areas have no television. You will not see or hear it here. Instead you listen to the sounds of nature, from bird life during the day to frogs, cicadas and curlews in the evening. Each large suite has a private verandah overlooking wilderness. Suites feature a new air conditioning and heating system.
Friday Buffet Dinners - have been paused for the rainy season but will resume in April.
Self catering facilities allow you to prepare your own meals. There is an under cover BBQ area in the rainforest where you can dine among the birds and wallabies. If you do not bring your own supplies we offer a range of BBQ packs with everything you need. We even offer vegetarian and gluten free options. Our chef prepares a grand buffet which is open to the public most Friday nights and you may join that if you wish, please book in advance. She also prepares some home-made meals which are available for purchase and can be reheated in our self catering dining area. You may help yourself to our continental breakfast buffet from early morning to 10am when it closes at check out time.
We have our own orchard you may stroll which produces mangos, limes, lemons, lemonade, starfruit, guava, papaya, bananas, cumquat, native Davidson plum and native raspberries. You can see other trees under cultivation but not yet bearing fruit, including macadamia nuts, avocados, jackfruit, coffee, oranges, mandarins, olives and figs. We also grow herbs and vegetables.

In your suite you will find free port wine, welcome snacks, tea, fresh coffee & drinking water. There is a mini-fridge for your use as well as a kettle, mugs, plates, glasses and cutlery. Included is continental breakfast, free wifi, local calls and parking. Not at the resort: television.
While at Cedar Park indulge in birdwatching, guided night walks and stargazing through our telescopes. We produce our own honey from the hives on our property.
